Ceiling Plastering/Leveling

Lounge ceiling has indentation and lines that I want to remove prior to repainting. Existing light fittings shine light across ceiling which make marks obvious at night. Ceiling is 31m2 and will have a low sheen paint applied. Room has been emptied, wall paper is being stripped, carpet has been removed. Best case would like to paint ceiling end of week/weekend. I am able to assist/sand etc. I suspect a skilled plaster stopper will be able to provide a better result in less time than my skills allow.
