Plastering and gib repair in small bedroom

We have a small room (2100 x 3000) that requires some gib repairs and skimming in preparation for painting. In general, the gib has dents, rips and adhesive residue so we think skimming would best sort this. There's one section of wall approx 1400w x 700h with a number of holes (170 x --- x --- x --- x 10 and 30 x 30) and damaged plaster that will need to be patched or replaced. One wall is new so doesn't need any work. There's also a wardrobe with a new panel of gib that needs stopping.
