Bathroom ceiling plasterboard replacement with cement board around vent area. 1. Cut plaster board ceiling with size of 600x450 mm around vent hole area in the middle. 2. Replace with cement board with the same size --- . Use your tool to cut hole of diameter of 150mm on the cement board to fit the vent. 4. The owner will provide cement board with 4.5mm think. You need figure out how to install it to flash with the surface of existing plaster board which is 10mm thick. 5. when installing the cement board on ceiling. It need be fixed securely with screws & glue. Additional timber bar may be required to place on the top to secure the heavy cement board 6. This job is for the unit in an apartment building. Thus, you need experience to fix board securely on the ceiling steel bars instead of wooden one. 7. The vent is not electrical one no motor. Thus, easy to remove 8. You need do pasting the joints with base coat after installation. No painting required. The work is located in the Auckland city, apartment building near K-road. The owner will pay for the parking. This is only the half day work primarily for board replacement. You need experience to handle cement board and plaster board. Besides, you need have tool to cut 150mm vent hole on the cement board.
