Currently the plasterboard around one of the lights bulb sockets in the ceiling is crumbling. I am guessing the standard fix would be to cut out a small square of the surrounding plasterboard, replace with new plasterboard and then have a circular hole cut out for the lightbulb socket. Also looking for advice on repainting the new plasterboard ceiling
