Small 'sausage' of asphalt on driveway, to steer water to drain

Problem we want to fix: heavy rain comes down long shared driveway, flows past grate/drain, then down concrete steps to base of our house. There is a drain at base of house, but it can fairly easily block with leaves etc in which case water could then flow into our basement. Solution (better ideas welcome): 'sausage' of asphalt, about 2m long and 20-30mm high, curved to guide water towards the grate/drain in driveway. A bit like a mini speed bump. Relating this to first photo: I see the new asphalt starting parallel to the green hedge on right-hand side of shared driveway (asphalt). The existing asphalt there is already nicely raised a little on the right which keeps the water on the driveway. But the raised bit of asphalt stops before our carport entrance (the concrete). I then see the new asphalt as curving across about 1/2 to 2/3 of our carport entrance. I've trialled that with a temporary collection of tiles/small bricks; even about 20mm of such stuff half-way across the carport entrance diverts most of the rain into the grate/drain well. We realise this is a really small job. So no hurry, we're happy to wait until you're nearby doing similar work. As long as work complete by end of March 2025, before winter gets close.

Ultrafast! Quote/estimate in the morning. Guys arrived and finished the job before midday. Nice that they tested the slope/curve of the asphalt with water to make sure it drained well. Comms good -- Mo rang to check all good afterwards.
