Large 1970's house has textured 'sparkly' ceilings throughout 80% of it - roughly 180m2 worth. The lounge has a pitched ceiling, all other rooms are standard height. I have just got the test results back they are NOT asbestos (Dowdell & Assoc). Looking for experienced tradespeople to remove and dispose of the textured layer and prep the gib for painting. Undercoating and painting as an option would also be ideal. Please provide details on your availability and costs with options around stage 1 = removal; Stage 2 = seal and plaster; Stage 3 - Paint. Looking to do this work in the next 2 weeks - please do not apply if you're already busy.

Job viewed and quotd promptly. Easy to discuss options with Che. Textured ceiling was gone in no time. It now has a plaster finish and looks heaps better and can be cleaned! Good advice to go with a matt water enamel paint so its cleanable but the imperfections dont show up (it is a 1970s house!).
