Repair rot in cabin leading edge

Jazz is a 7 m Pelin style cabin cruiser. Hull is solid glass but topsides glass over ply. The leading edge of the cabin has some rot - approx. 20mm x 20mm triangular shape X 500 long. Prefer to avoid "just a bondi" job if possible, so looking at cutting out rot, sealing timber, possibly adding treated timver insert before final filler.
