Fibreglass step in pool

I have a fibreglass step that is very thin and needs repairing. The step is thin and keeps cracking and now it has a hole in it. The step has had proxey put in it many times but it breaks and keeps leaking. I’m hoping a boat builder could fix my step with fibreglass to make it strong.
