Hello, We need landscaping services for a recently completed residential project in Massey, west Auckland. The scope of work is outlined below: 1. Backyard Area: Approximately 100m2 of flat terrain. Services required include the application of weed killer to eliminate existing weeds, installation of weed mat to prevent regrowth, and the even pouring and spreading of mulch across the backyard to enhance aesthetics. 2. Timber Retaining Wall: We require the construction of a standard timber retaining wall along the neighboring border. The length of the retaining wall is 22m, with a gradual increase in height from a minimum of 0.3m to a maximum of 1.2m. The excavated soil will be used/kept onsite, eliminating transport costs. Retaining wall posts and back rails have already been purchased from Carters and are available onsite. The last two poles need to extend an additional 1.0m below the design depths. Please refer to the attached design. An inspection is required before pouring concrete to confirm post size and hole depth. The existing timber fence on the border is to be reinstated on the retaining wall (new fence posts have already been purchased and is available onsite). 3. Water Tank Installation: We have purchased a dual-purpose --- L retention, 3700 L detention) above-ground rain tank. Underground work has been completed by the drainlayer, and plumbing work for connecting the tank to toilets has also been done. The installation work includes supplying mains water top-up solenoid, rain bank, and pipework, supplying and installing a backflow preventer, supplying and installing a water pump for non-potable supply, supplying and installing a pump cover, installing non-potable signs above taps, supply sand for the tank base and concrete paver for the pump base. Please refer to the attached for further information. We have estimated the job and allocated $14,000 plus GST (maximum) for the work.
