I have a failed retaining wall that is leaning forwards that needs to be removed and the soil behind it dug out. The stretch that is retained is about 6 metres and probably about 1100mm deep - I need you to dig out to ground level on the other side of the fence/wall, leaving it 500mm clear of the fence line. You can throw it all back on to the high side of the land. Plus, there's about another 22 metres of fence line where we need you to dig out the same 500mm back from fence line, to ground level on other side, but this area doesn't have a retaining wall in the way to worry about, and is only around 400 to 500mm deep. Best to come to site and I'll go over it with you. There's really no access for a machine, so this is a hand dig. Photo 1 shows the worst part, the 6 metre stretch where the wall needs to come done and dig back 500mm, to ground level. Photo 2 shows what it's like for the remaining 22 metres.
