Garden wooden Retaining wall /fencing

We have a wooden retaining wall at the edge of the lawn/garden that overlooks a small stream. However, during the cyclone and recent flooding, the surging waters wrecked most of the 10-meter-length wall. Also, the force of the flooding bent back about 3 m of wooden fencing near the stream that demarcates the property. Two pictures of the retaining wall and one of the bent fence are attached.
