Lawn terracing

Hi there, We are looking at doing some terracing on our front lawn, to provide a more flat area. It is a medium sized lawn, and the curved terraced step edge is about 10M long. The raised lawn would be about 3-400mm at its highest, tapering off to flat uphill. We are looking at wooden/macrocarpa sleepers or the like for the step down. There is a septic tank on the upper lawn so some care needs to be taken around that area. We have had some drainage issues so would appreciate this addition to drain well. Thanks - Mat
