Widen driveway + add parking pad

Hi I have an old / long driveway that I wish to widen by 500mm each side of it give or take. I also wish to create a parking pad on grass, presently churned to mud. I've had a quote for concreting this, but builder is unwell for ages. I want to get it done asap.. and I THINK I am open to the idea of wide rustic wood (eg sleepers) instead of concrete, or perhaps tiles? am open to ideas as long as it can be driven on. It's 13m of driveway in total + a 10square meter pad. I'd like DARK finish either side of the driveway please. ive had some light concreting done, and hated it. I would like a dark finish to match the house and create a frame around the old driveway.. this is why sleepers might be good? Will get three quotes, then proceed with the best / fastest turnaround. Please message your ideas. The brown house with green grass in front is my one.
