Due to both my ignorance and hiring a contractor who did not have enough experience in properly preparing an area for lawn, I have a drainage issue with my front lawn that needs to be dealt with. The main issues are: # There are areas of clay throughout lawn, up to 100mm deep in places which is effecting draining. # The lawn has not been levelled or built-up properly resulting in low lying areas in the middle of the lawn where water is pooling. I feel we need to rotary hoe the entire area, 300mm deep if possible? and then properly build up the area and level, allowing water to drain off the lawn on either side of the property... Please only contact me if your profile has a proven track record of laying lawns and dealing with drainage issues or you are highly experienced. This needs to be dealt with by a professional who knows exactly how to rectify the issue quickly and cost effectively as I and my back pocket would prefer not to have a repeat of last time.
