have a 600 sqm section with house on it, section has gentle slope. lawn has been dug up for new drains, around the house has been also dug up and drains put in to stop water going into house. Now need someone that can sketch up a plan, which may have a couple small retaining walls 600mm high so I can level out part of the back yard. Front garden also needs to be battered out to prevent garden from being close to the house. I would imagine 1 days work with small digger 1.5 ton or so would make a huge difference. some trees will probably need to be trimmed. later in the year will need new driveway, paths. First of all would like a plan done [don't want to spend thousands, not need huge detail], then a couple of days of a man and digger shifting around some soil to create flat areas and garden and get the basic shape of garden sorted [I am thinking $2000 to do]. If you have a bobcat or something similar that is able to drill posts holes in the right place for small retaining walls would be great. If you are quick at doing this work and can help with clever suggestions on how to make my place look great. Later in the year there will be driveway, paving and other stuff to do. first all of all I want a basic plan, major stuff and piles of soil knocked into shape. I don't mind if you want to do this work in weekend, over a few weekends so it doesn't interfere with you day job. If you going to quote me $10000 for a small retaining wall and $20000 for driveway then you are wasting both of our time.
