Back yard retaining

1 x retaining wall approx 8m long x .8m high to retain back yard from falling into neighbours (i.e. fence on their side, retaiing on ours - our property above theirs). 1 x raised garden bed, 8x 1.2 x .4 m high. One longside and 2 short sides needed - back wall is against earth bank, As it is to be used for a vegetable bed am interested in using non-toxic materials. Both jobs a a wee hike up from the road so need fit labourers although we are happy to do the lugging.
