hi all, the raked ceiling in the main lounge/dining area has no insulation between it and the roof at present. i'd like to get it retrofitted to at least R6.6, if not more. the roof is single pitch corruguated iron and i have been informed that the best way to do this is to take the roof off and install from there. the area is approximately 60 metres square but i'm unsure of how much space there is between the ceiling and the roof to put in the insulation thanks!

The size of the under floor area is 562cm X 965cm. I am looking to get expol installed or open to suggestions. I am aiming to provide underfloor insulation for the top part of the house and at the same time reduce noise leaking into the lower flat. Looking at insulating the ceiling space above a flat. Another flat sits above, but offset. Approx 2m of the downstairs flat has the upstairs membrane deck above it.
