Gas fire place help

We have a gas fire place with a really ugly raidant type gas fire heater thing with an exteror gas pipe. We want to replace it but are unsure what we can replace it with and who will do the job! Happy to pay for someone to come and check it out, advise on options and then install whatever we select!
