Wire brushing for rust removal from deck I-beam, plus priming with galvanised primer and possibly painting. Bolting I-beam to deck timber with 12mm galvanized bolts with square washers on top. Work needs to be complete before midday this Saturday 9 April, please!

Work was signed off by the building inspector so must have been up to scratch! Looks much better than it did, too. Ended up taking longer and costing more than expected because the first drill bit Mark bought couldn't cut through the steel. Mark communicated proactively with the building inspector throughout to make sure he was happy with the final solution.
