Install a new letter box, including sourcing the new one. Preference would be a non-rust, metallic one, and free-standing. Job would include digging or boring a post hole, if the one occupied by the old letter box is not suitable. And there's a good chance more handy work will come your way if you do a good job. This is our family home, which we now rent out. (I'm in Wellington, rental in Auckland.) Thanks heaps Jon
