Hi, I’m looking for a handyman that can attach 4 pieces of wood to the base of our child’s cot today so that he can’t get his hands and feet stuck under the frame now that we have shifted the bed to the floor. I can’t get out of work today in time to do it today so looking for someone that can come in between 3.30pm and 6pm to do it today (Wednesday 15th Jan) See pictures for what’s needed. Picture 1: shows the gap we are looking to fill with a piece of wood that goes to the ground Picture 2: shows where it would sit (half way up the structure beam and down to the ground. Note this is the side of the cot against the wall. Picture 3: shows how it would be on all 4 sides / no gaps in the corners Picture 4: shows suggested height for each blocking timber to be 20cm Picture 5: back beam / wall side is a little higher but not much. 20cm would also work fine Note that we don’t need these painted (wood colour is fine) and the blocking timbers could be put on the inside OR on the outside of the cot. The outside might be better to allow the bed to easily be placed back in. Feel free to call me on if any questions
