We are converting an old workshop basement into a rumpus room. To prep for this we have expanded the old entrance door to be converted into a french door. We now realise that once all the joinery is completed it is going to be way to short for pretty much all adults. So what we need to do is cut the masonry wall a bit higher so that it is workable. You would need to consaw straight along the red lines in the image and knock out to a good enough quality that a french door can be put in after. Happy to provide more details.
