Soffit Repair, Wooden Window Frame and Back Door

We've got a big hole in the Soffit by the master bedroom, the guys that replaced our roof have left us a new piece of soffit but they didn't have time to put it up. The 2nd photo shows the Soffit we were given resting against the house. The Wooden Window under where we want the repair doesn't seal closed, I've put Draught Stopper on it but its almost like the frame is slightly warped, would like to see if it can be sanded or planed to close a bit better. Lastly the external door by the Master Bedroom is a bit sticky, its likely the house has just settled overtime so would just need to be planed also.
