Chimney and lounge wall repair

There may be a small leak in our chimney which has damaged the gib in our lounge room. Would like a repair done with hopeful rescue of wallpaper so we don't have to repaper the whole room. The wall doesn't feel damp to the touch so I don't think it's a big leak, just enough to gradually do the damage I think.
