I have a lightweight vintage 15ft caravan that has been delivered to my rural section in Awhitu, and it was parked by the delivery guy on a slight slope, whoops. I need an experienced caravanner to come and help me move it slightly, level it more if needed (e.g. using a levelling ramp or hydraulic jack), chock it up and put it on jack stands for stability. It does have some ancient stabilisers but I don't know if they work. More details: - My little car doesn't have a towbar, so you'll need to have one - If you can recommend the specific parts needed (I'm thinking jack stands or blocks), either I can source these, or you could quote for supplying them. I usually go to Savebarn Otahuhu on the way down to Awhitu, but you may know better deals. - The section is easily accessible from the road and reasonably flat, open ground that would be pretty easy to tow the caravan around on. The caravan-levelling job is the priority, but if you are a general handyperson and know how to troubleshoot various bits and pieces with plumbing and electrics around a caravan, this is a plus. Some repairs or investigations needed are: - The Whale-brand tiptoe foot-pump for the water supply worked fine for half a day, then stopped moving water. There is still suction when you put your finger over the hose outside, so it is likely not the seal and could be an air bubble that needs flushing out. - There is an existing solar panel with battery, solar inverter and 12v system which runs the fridge and stereo nicely, although there are powerpoints installed for 12v appliances as part of the system as well but these do not seem to be functional. One of the stereo-speakers also doesn't seem to be working. - A warped ceiling panel needs securing back up to the roof beam with a screw or two. **Note that there is no power to the site** other than the little solar 12v supply, so any power tools you have in mind will need to be charged up on battery. I am available to meet onsite on weekends and Fridays.
