The downstairs room to our house, which is approximately 3/4 below ground level, has recently flooded. There is a sump pump outside the room that is meant to take away the excess ground water, but despite the fact that it is working the room is still flooding. There are foundational cracks that may be contributing or causing the problem. My husband and are I in America at the moment but our tenants are there and can be contacted to work out a time to come assess the damage and estimate how much it will cost to fix.
