Carport

We have a large purpose manufactured rectangular tarpaulin that used to form a carport in front of our garage before the snow collapsed the metal frame and the carport was demolished. We need to suspend this tarpaulin again ....similar to a 'sail'. One end of the tarp will attach to the front of the garage....the other needs to be suspended 'somehow' from poles (maybe) sunk in the ground. We need your advice and you to source the poles and sink them in the ground to suspend the tarp so it is safe for our car to be housed under it.
