Remaking top to an outdoor table

This table, bought from Freedom about 10 years, ago needs a new top. The present one is made of some unattractive fake wood lookalike which doesn't clean or wear well. It's fixed to a metal frame and has matching seating, The idea is to replace only the top with better material - weatherproof, warp-proof, probably timber - but open to ideas. We want simple and cost-effective, Table top dimensions: existing panels are 1cm x 47 x 88
