Gutter hole needs stopping up so the leak doesn't continue and soffit panel needs replacing and repainting. Second storey, access from garage roof. Redoing an extracting fan ducting to include a drip tray for leak from apt above

Apartment has drop from above. Need drip tray installed above cylindrical extraction fan duct to catch water, then at some point allow the water to drip down a hose that can be pointed out the extraction fan escape hole. Current extraction duct is suffounded by a boxy wireframe metal cage, which is (somehow) attached to the ceiling/wall. Open to discussion regarding solution.
