Repair bathroom floor

Water from the shower has over a period of time , been escaping onto the bathroom floor (tiles on particle board). The silicon protection strip had been peeled away (children) and some water has seeped under the tiles and had undermined the integrity of the floor (small area less than the size of your hand). Whether or not this infiltrated under the shower base needs to be determined.
