Aluminium window catches R&M

We have est 26 year old Vantage aluminium windows and some of the latches / catches (est 10?) need repairing (riveting?) or replacing. The salt air from the Manukau doesn't help. I know there is a demolition place down New Lynn (Jacob) and they have all sorts of old catches or source similar new from Bunnings? We may have other jobs such as door handles / lock - Windows are first job. Importantly, we need to have trust in the person coming into our house.
