General Handyman Tasks
Auckland

Published: 31 March 2022

I have a small assortment of tasks: 1. Assemble a queen sized slat bed (low profile, no headboard) manufacturer has supplied necessary tools (Allen keys and spanner), but they’re “disposable” quality so you’ll probably prefer to supply your own. Best as a two person job, I’m happy to be the 2nd person. 2. Install a curtain rod - manufacturer provided fittings (screws and anchors), you’ll need to bring a drill and small ladder (and possibly a level) 3. Install three sets of hooks - into back of hollow doors and hollow wall (inside hot water cupboard.) You’ll need to provide screws and (I’m no expert) I expect anchors of some sort - which I’m hoping you can provide - will be necessary as well. The wooden rail that holds the hooks just slots over the screws inserted into the wall to hold it. One of the wooden rails that holds the hooks will need to be cut at each end to fit it’s location, so please bring a saw. Wooden rail is approx 2.5 cm square. I’m flexible on timing - ideally any time Friday, Sunday, Monday 1st, 3rd, 4th April. After those dates is also a possibility. Auckland viaduct harbor location, parking won’t be super-easy, but not impossible.
