Job description

General Handyman Tasks
Auckland

Published: 6 September 2014

We have had a leak under out kitchen cabinetry and need some of it replaced and the hole which a rat has come through to cause the damage, plugged up. The work that needs done is the replacement of the skirting panel in photo one, hole to the under the house needs to be plugged up (so the rat can't come back in), an adjacent wall also has the same damage at the bottom like photo one except this is an entire panel (1.3m by 86cm) and anything else that is damaged when you assess it will be added to the job list if required. Photo one is a close up of the panel showing the water damage. Photo two is a photo of the mess the rat has made underneath the bench hence the need for repair. The length of the skirting board is 2.8 meters long, 14cm in height.

Dean from Wright's painting tried very hard to complete this job however the kitchen cabinets were glued together such a way that the full job could not be completed. Dean apologized and refunded the full amount that we had paid.

Tradesperson reply
"Need to change my reply as once I explained the situation I see you also changed your review. It was hard trying to fit time around tenants timetable as they did not get home till after 3.30.Yes it was a lot harder than first thought yet I did what I could and although I painted what I replaced I did not charge anything at all. That for changing review and making it a lot more fair"
