Stove top doesn't quite fit the space & a light replaced

Hey Guys, We had to replace the stove top in our rental. Was supposed to be the same size, but its like 2mm or 3mm out. So i just need someone to come and sand a couple of mm off one site to allow the stove top (electric) to fit. Stove top is connected and working... but not sitting flush with the bench. Would also need to be sealed. Also one down light needs to be replaced. Will need you to get the light as well. Asap please!
