We have a DIY project to resolve the waterlog issue at garden/rear of under house area. 1)Within the low lying area under the rear deck install 110mm diameter novaflow with filter cloth inside 300mm wide X 300mm deep trench. 2) Lay the novaflow at a gradient greater than 2% towards the rear of the section except the novaflow that is parallel to the rear boundary which does not need to be graded. 3) Fill the trench after laying of novaflow with drainage aggregate gravel. 4) Fill the low lying depression area with topsoil to raise the ground level. 5) Grade this area so that it slopes towards the rear section. 6) Raise the bottom of the timber diagonal brace clear of the final ground level.
