We would like to extend our lean-to roof over our deck to provide shade and shelter. Ideally we would like to cover the whole of the deck, but this will be dependent on cost. If covering the whole deck, the roof would be appx. 6.2m x 5.5m. If supported by posts directly into the ground (rather than fixed to the deck), the height of these posts would be appx. 4.5m. Our current intention is that the deck roof would be covered by both roofing iron ... and also in parts opaque corrugated pvc to let the light through.
