Audio/noise proofing

I live in an inner city apartment built in the early 200s. I get a lot noise from the hallway coming through my front door. it's a fire door so hoping to make it audio tight. Presume this means filling in all the cracks around the door! There is also potential to talk about the impact noise from the apartment above but I am currently talking through options with the body corp. If approved this would involved new carpet with audio underlay. Happy to discuss price.
