Assess/repair and paint weatherboards

I have a two story house with flat easy access section. Most of the structure of the house is brick, but there are painted cedar weatherboards around the windows and at either end of the top story. I have done my best to take photos that show the cedar. I have just had the roof replaced and the roofers noted that some of the weather boards were brittle/rotten. They need painting as well. I am keen to get the upper story weather boards repaired and painted.
