Cat door install

Have a window to install cat door into that is roughly 834mm x 337mm, currently double glazed. Happy to just get single glazed replacement. Pet door is quite large and using the circle adaptor will require it to be trimmed like the cardboard cutout example in the second picture, happy to do this part myself. There is 1-1.5cm overlap of glass still under the adaptor which hopefully is enough to seal on? Also just wanting to know if the window will still be strong enough when the circle is cut out because of the hole size compared to the pane size. Prefer to get done in the next day or two if possible.
