Our aluminium window has stabilisers on each side to ensure it opens and closes consistently. On one side the rivet withinin the frame which holds the glazing has snapped. This causes the window to close unevenly and creates a gap when closed if we're not careful. We need the rivets to be drilled out and, potentially, the stabiliser replaced. I appreciate this might require the stabiliser on both sides to be replaced for evenness. This window comes off a the second floor bedroom.
