Mirror Repair

My son hit our hallway mirror with the vacuum and now need it repaired - The piece thats broken is separated from the rest of the mirror and looks like it is glued on with a velvet type fabric at the back. I don't need an exact replacement but if the broken piece can be removed a new piece of mirror fitted so It doesn't look to out of place?
