Gas hob elements not always igniting

Oven gas connection

The gas pipe at the rear of the wall oven prevents the new oven from slotting all the way in. I think it needs to be cut off shorter or moved lower to allow the oven to be pushed in further so it sits flush

Gas Heater Removal (connected to mains)

We are wanting quotes on removing our gas heater. It is connected to mains. Two quotes would be appreciated, but #1 is our main objective. 1) cost of disconnecting the heater, sealing the gas line, and leaving us with the removal of the heater after that. 2) cost of full removal of heater + disconnecting the gas line. The line will need to be removed so that we can patch the wall. And we are happy to do that ourselves. We're not sure if the heater is worth anything... but are happ...
