Job Description for Ground and Garden Maintenance of 39-43 Apollo Drive, Mairangi Bay under the Instruction of the Committee of Body Corp. --- . General: the site consists of four similar buildings, A, B, C and D, on two adjacent sites at street addresses 39 to 43 Apollo Drive, Mairangi Bay, North Shore, Auckland. All four, two storied buildings have gardens on all four sides. These gardens may not in all cases run the length of the building and the planting may not be consistent with the rest of the gardens, but the maintenance of these areas forms part of the scope of this maintenance requirement. This scope includes the gardens and grassed areas surrounding these buildings, the carparks between the buildings, and the roadside berms. This scope includes the legal disposal of any plant material resulting from the maintenance of the grounds and gardens. This work is to be conducted at times to impact least on the inhabitants of these buildings and their respective businesses. Notify the body corp. chair if anything need special attention, suggesting what that attention might be and where we might get it. Offer a price estimate if possible. It is expected that the frequency the items of work described below need addressing will vary with season. Please indicate that seasonal frequency as best you can and the annual cost for a sensibly packaged maintenance programme. 1. Mow roadside berms and weed-eat any hard edges back to a straight line. 2. Ensure the general gardens are weeded, deed leaves removed from plants and the substrate (typically stones) clear of weeds and dropped leaves. 3. Remove and dispose of any dead or dying leaves from plants. 4. Remove and dispose of any dead or living plant material from the car parks. 5. Where safe, remove any dead or dying fronds from larger palms. Where unsafe, notify body corp. chair so an arborist can be organised. 6. Ensure palms and pohutukawas are pruned back from the building walls and gutters.
