Hedge needs cutting

Hedge currently hanging down over fence. Need it trimmed off fence so we can wash and paint it. Would like hedge to be cut right back (flush with fence) where it runs along garage. You can leave the cuttings in the orange bin we have so no need for garden waste removal. Fence is approx 15 - 20m long. Pls refer pics for more.
