2007 Dominator Garage door opener. Door doesn’t open, moves a little then makes a grinding noise & a deep rattle. Have previously replaced main chain cog & this still appears intact. Looks to be piece that is in between the electric motor & the cog. Have cover off to assess. Can send a video of the noise.

Scooped out broken door opener, uneconomic to fix. Then popped back a couple of days later to install a new one. Easy to arrange and cost within budget,
