2007 Dominator Garage door opener. Door doesn’t open, moves a little then makes a grinding noise & a deep rattle. Have previously replaced main chain cog & this still appears intact. Looks to be piece that is in between the electric motor & the cog. Have cover off to assess. Can send a video of the noise.

Door isn’t tracking straight when closing, causing it to run (and often jam, automatically sending it back up). I have to pull the door as it closes to keep it running true so it closes. Photos show rubbing on door frame, and a photo of the LH channel with wear inside which isn’t present on the RH (good) side. I have added a video on my Google drive showing the juddering etc : ---

We have a really old garage door which has problem shutting recently. I think the opener (and the motor) itself is fine. Maybe springs to lose tension? Not sure. A general maintenance is needed anyway.
