Job description

House Piling
Waitakere

Hi I'm looking for 6 steel screw piles to be installed at my house to support a spa pool. The spa pool will sit on plywood and timber framing (all been designed). Setting out will be done by myself. I'm in West Auckland so the soil is clay which should be suitable for screw piles. The screw piles need to be corrosion protected such as stainless steel or galvanised. The screw piles will be close to a 2.1m high retaining wall and thus I would like the piles to go down at least 2.2m so perhaps a standard length of 2.5m? It is critical that they get installed straight, all level with each other and inline with each other for the framing to sit on top. I'd also like attachments on top of the screw piles such as an L bracket for a 190x45 timber beam to connect to. I'd prefer a hydraulic system to drive the screws in rather than screwing them in by hand. It won't be possible to get big piling machinery in so small hand held equipment is the only option. The maximum working loads I'm expecting on 1 screw pile would be 0.9kN / 1.3kN / 3kN / 3.4kN / 4.2kN.
