Repair existing failed concrete wall pile and add additional piles. The existing wall pile has failed causing both vertical and horizontal movement to the wooden structure. The upper half of the house is a typical ex Titirangi bach which was originally constructed without adequate piling. The piling that has been installed has failed and requires repair and additional support. A recent extension to the home, partially underneath the original building, has provided additional support but may have been built to the issues and may limit the amount of lifting required to level out the top floor. Access underneath the old section is good but reduces to around 700mm at the failed wall. Improved access would be possible with the cutting back of portions of the driveway and carport slab which run along the external cladding. Please only respond if you are an experienced piler or builder with the necessary knowledge of this kind of job, preferably with experience of Titirangi clay. If you are, I look forward to hearing from you.
