Creaking Floorboards

Hi. We have recently ripped up carpet and polished original Tawa floors in our 1965 home. Issue now being they are extremely creaky! Wanting these repaired if possible. Can access underfloor via garage. Please only respond if you have fixed this particular issue before. We do not want to nail down from the top as it would ruin the look of the floors. Thanks!
