We have just sold our house and before settlement (Nov 30th) have to replace 3 parts of the floor which have gotten wet and gone rotten. Our floor is particle board. Our contract stipulates that this must be carried out by a registered builder. There is one part in the bathroom - approx 250mm x 250mm, one part next to our hot water cupboard - approx 250mm x 250mm and one in the corner of a room approx 200mm x 400mm. We will have the floor exposed and ready to go for all 3 sections and just need the rotten sections cut out and replaced. If you are able to relay the carpet as well that would be amazing but if not we can find someone to do this. We do not have the wood to replace with, we are happy to buy this in advance if it is easier/will save time.
